CONCEPT
Why Urawa Minami FC aims for "Deviation Value 60+"
1. "Effort," Not "Talent"
The standard of Deviation Value 60 or higher that Urawa Minami FC sets does not require special talent or genius.
Deviation Value 60 is a level reachable by acquiring the following habits:
- Sitting at your desk for a certain amount of time every day
- Not leaving things you don't understand alone
- Making a continuous effort
We believe that this "ability to sustain effort" is the most important power for both a soccer player and a person.
2. Soccer and Study Develop the "Same Ability"
Players who grow in soccer have common traits.
- Ability to judge situations
- Ability to learn from failure and improve
- Ability to build up steadily
These are all the same abilities acquired through studying. Players who neglect their studies tend to "stop thinking," "cannot continue," and "stop growing" in soccer as well.
That is why Urawa Minami FC does not separate soccer and academics but nurtures them on the premise of compatibility.
[Academic Support System]
Our club operates under the umbrella of the "Athlete Study System," providing specialized learning methods and environments to achieve a high-level balance between sports and academics.
3. Minimum Line to Expand Future Options
The biggest turning point in junior high school age is high school advancement. By aiming for around Deviation Value 60, players can have "options, not an escape route."
- Choices including both public and private schools expand
- Not overly dependent on soccer recommendations
- Both paths of continuing or not continuing the sport remain
Urawa Minami FC does not believe it is good for a player's future to be determined solely by soccer results.
4. A "Goal," Not a "Condition"
It is often misunderstood, but Urawa Minami FC does not make Deviation Value 60 a condition for joining.
- We do not require Deviation Value 60 at the time of joining.
- There is no immediate expulsion if you cannot reach it.
It is strictly a common goal for the club. What is important is not the "current number" but whether you are making an effort towards it.
5. For Home and Club to Look in the Same Direction
The reason for setting a clear numerical value of Deviation Value 60 is so that players, parents, and the club can move in the same direction.
- "I want to prioritize soccer over studying"
- "I don't want to miss practice even before exams"
Such discrepancies in values will eventually lead to trouble. Urawa Minami FC clearly conveys from the beginning that it is a club that seriously seeks "Bunbu Ryodo" (both literary and military arts).
6. The Player Image Urawa Minami FC Aims For
What Urawa Minami FC wants to nurture is a person who can "continue to make efforts" in soccer, study, and life.
Deviation Value 60 is not the goal. We believe that the "thinking power, continuity, and self-management ability" acquired in the process will become a lifelong asset for the player.
Urawa Minami FC
Serious about Soccer. Serious about Study.
